Audace Manirahinyuza is working since 2013 for the German Federal Government’s Civil Peace Service Program as an Expert, Trainer and Facilitator for Development and Capacity Peace Building Projects. He is especially experienced in developing and post-conflict societies with a regional focus on Central and Eastern parts of Africa. He manages development programs, conducts training and facilitates seminars for capacity building, organizational strengthening and sustainable development. As a trainer and expert, he currently works with different non-governmental organizations in local and mining governance, local participation for social economic development of communities in extractive industries in Katanga Region/Democratic Republic of Congo.
He holds a Ph.D. and postgraduate at the Institute of Political Science, Departments of Economics of Development and World Trade & International Relations of the Leibniz University of Hannover; his dissertation focused on how China’s African policy impacts good governance in Sub-Saharan Africa.
