Antonio Ramalho is a Full Professor of International Relations at the University of Brasília. He has also held senior positions at the Brazilian Ministries of Defense and Education and at the Strategic Affairs Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic. He served as Director of the Brazilian Studies Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and was elected to two consecutive two-year terms as Director of the UNASUR Defense School, based in Quito. Currently, he is Dean of the Institute of International Relations at the University of Brasília and a researcher at CNPq, GEPSI/IREL, and at the Observatory of Military Capabilities and Defense Policies.
