Antonio Ramalho is Full Professor of International Relations at the University of Brasilia. He also worked in high-level positions at the Brazilian Ministries of Defense & Education, and at the Strategic Affairs Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic. He directed the Brazilian Studies Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and was elected for two consecutive two-year terms as Director of the UNASUL Defense School, based in Quito. Currently, he is the Dean of the International Relations Institute of the University of Brasilia and researcher at the CNPq, GEPSI/IREL and at the Observatory of Military Capabilities and Defense Policies.
