Dr. Festus Kofi Aubyn is a Senior Researcher with more than 14 years of experience in the fields of conflict, peace, and security. His professional work bridges academia, policy, and practice, with a particular emphasis on research, training, and capacity development across West Africa. He currently leads the Regional Research and Capacity Building Programme at the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP).  

He served for nearly a decade as a Research Fellow at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Ghana, contributing to high-level research, professional training, and policy dialogue on African peace and security. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at several universities and has published extensively, authoring and co-authoring peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, policy briefs, working papers, and policy reports.
