Nana Odoi

Nana Odoi is an expert in international development cooperation with over 20 years of experience in conflict management, peace and security, displacement, and migration. She holds a degree in Social Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), a Master’s in Conflict Management, and a diploma in Human Rights and Forced Displacement.

She has extensive leadership experience managing complex programmes in fragile contexts across Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda, and Mozambique. She has managed multi-million-euro portfolios, led international teams, and coordinated with multilateral and regional partners including UNHCR, ECOWAS, the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), and the African Union.

Her expertise includes the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus, political advisory processes, and organisational development and change management in the peace and security sector. Since May 2025, she has been Managing Director of FriEnt.
