Nina Strumpf represents the Plattform Zivile Konfliktbearbeitung and the Berghof Foundation in the FriEnt team. She is committed to fostering constructive debate and bringing diverse perspectives to issues such as digitalisation, integrity and accountability, while advancing peace and conflict issues on the political agenda. For more than 10 years, Nina has worked in conflict transformation in Germany and internationally. Her areas of expertise include Transitional Justice and Dealing with the Past, Human Rights, and Mediation. 

Before joining the Berghof Foundation, she worked for a sustainable finance start-up and coordinated the Initiative Mediation Support Deutschland (IMSD). As part of the Civil Peace Service, she lived and worked in Lebanon and Nepal and supported the establishment of a human rights organisation focusing on human rights defenders in the Philippines. 

Nina is a trained mediator. She holds an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Philipps University Marburg and a BA in Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin.
