Alba is a peacebuilder and social activist born in Caracas. She began her social work in her community where she built up a Civil Association with 2,500 families and almost 10,000 people. She was part of the coordinating team of civil platform named Creemos Alianza Ciudadana from Catholic University in Caracas, from where she supported the organization and training processes in NoViolence to activists in twelve cities of VE. She is part of the network of LatAM trainers of the Nonviolent Action program (SNAP) from USIP for Colombia, Nicaragua and Venezuela to develop the synergy between Nonviolent Action and Peacebuilding in the region. She works in alliance with Oportunidad A.C. an NGO, offering training in the Diploma in Leadership and Management of the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence aimed at young people at Monteavila Uni. Alba studied with the International Center for Nonviolent Conflicts (ICNC), with USIP, and with the Center for Justice and Peace from Menonite University in US.
