Currently, Mrs. Heike Thiele serves as Director for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Stabilization at the German Foreign Office.
Prior, she served as Head of Leadership Skills Center and Head of the Division for External and strategic communication as well as in various departments of the Foreign Office.
Previous posts in her diplomatic career include the German Embassies in Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Sana’a, Caracas and service as German Ambassador in Niamey.
In addition, she also studied Public Management at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
