Henriette Kötter is a Senior Policy Officer at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Since 2017 she’s working in the Division for Governance; Democracy and Rule of law on Anti-Corruption and combatting Illicit Financial Flows. From 2013-2017 she was Head of Development Cooperation at the German Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo. Before this she was responsible for working with UNICEF and UN Women in the UN Division at BMZ.
From 2009-2010 she served as a Junior Policy Officer at the Gender Division of the International Organization for Migration, IOM. Before that she was posted as a Junior Officer at the German Development Agency (DED) in Natitingou, Benin for Gender Issues in the Water Programme.
Henriette holds a Master of Arts in Political Sciences, Peace and Conflict Studies and Eastern European History from the Philipps-University of Marburg. In 2004-2005 she studied in Zagreb, Croatia with a Scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service.
