Janna is an advisor at GIZ, the German Development Agency, advising the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on the topic of Sustainable Economic Development. Her focus topics are economic development in context of fragility and socio-economic integration of forcibly displaced persons. Before entering GIZ, Janna has gathered experiences in the field of entrepreneurship promotion in East Africa and is co-founder of the non-profit organization Young Leaders for Health (YLH) in Berlin.
Janna holds a MSc. in Public-Policy and Human Development from the United Nations University UNU-Merit and Maastricht Graduate School of Governance as well as a MSc. in Work- and Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University.
