Lars Wilke is the Head of Division for West Africa II at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Berlin. Before this assignment he worked as senior policy officer on employment and private sector development, on East Africa and in the strategic planning and coordination unit within the BMZ. He was also Head of Cooperation at the German Embassy in Nairobi and worked as national expert for the European Commission in Brussels.
He studied political sciences and international relations at Leipzig University and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques Paris (Sciences-Po). He holds as well an Executive Master of Public Management of the Hertie School of Governance Berlin.
